In this web site you will learn about our volunteer experience at The Farmstead Homes in Andover. We were referred to Cheryl Grams for our volunteer hours, she greatly accepted us and quickly set us up for our or first day of service. In the beginning we were expecting to do our community service being in contact with the elderly at all times, when in fact our first day activity was to clean an art closet up on the third floor of the residency. Our second day of service was a week before Easter helping at an Easter egg hunt for the resident’s grandchildren and people around the community. Our third day of volunteering was assisting in a tea party for the women. For our last service with Farmstead Homes we played Bingo with the elderly.  Farmstead Homes is a Presbyterian home with both services and homes for the elderly.
